I think Richards is a no go zone. Just too many moving parts to make the cap work and the Avs would have to rush trades to do so, probably would get a poor return bc of it.

Moves should be done in the offseason when the price in a trade will go up once the Cap limit is more nailed down

All depends on EJ. If its 3 Weeks or 2 months. If they can clip along at .500 for 3 weeks they might have a shot. Time for Dutch, Landy, MacK and ROR to step up and lead this offense.

They also need to give Elliott a shot with the big club. As long as they dont make any stupid panic trades Ill be happy

I would like to see more of Elliot. And picks obviously. Just wondering if the Avs will pull the trigger on a minor trade for some help on D. Might not be a bad idea to just get a cheap stay at home guy. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD KEEP HOLDEN AND GUENIN OUT OF THE TOP 4.

Elliott Friedman was saying the Avs were shopping Hejda before the EJ injury came out. So promising that they are looking at gaining assets for guys they dont want to keep around (opens up more roster spots for better moible Dmen in the system)

I could see them a bit actives on the waiver wire if a Dman comes up. Dont see any minor trades of sending lower draft picks for plugs.

Yeah I agree with you on that one. Just try to sell off pending UFAs and dont try and buy themselves into a playoff spot by burning high picks on a dman like Franson.

Colin Greening on waivers today is a bit tempting bc he was once an effective 3rd Line guy, but 2 years left wtih a 2.2m cap hit is gross. I think that guy is on the path to being bought out
